Step Counting Troubleshooting

Hello, this is the WalkMining team.

We have released a feature that allows step counting directly through phone sensors due to recent issues with Google Fit connectivity, which has caused inconvenience for some users.

If your step count is not increasing from 0, please follow the guide below to change your step counting method.

By updating the app to the latest version(v0.15.x), you can activate this feature directly in Labs.
Labs can be found under “My Page > Settings (gear icon) > Labs,” and detailed instructions are available at the following link:

Step counting via phone sensors is not a temporary feature; it will fully replace Google Fit by May 2025.

Users experiencing issues can activate this feature in advance and start using it.
